Brittany and I made Rhonda's 8th Leap Year Birthday cake in the style of the Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts Bloomers, the Drink Me Bottle and the Mad Hatters Hat from Alice in Wonderland. The bottom was red velvet with cream cheese frosting, and the top layer was almond vanilla cake with almond frosting! Instead of coloring a million colors of fondant, we painted it.. and it did not turn out as well as I'd hoped.. Experimentation is how we learn!
